Atou Diarra is a nurse practitioner with over 17 years of nursing experience. She has a true passion for health and fitness, disease prevention and improving overall health, which is evident in the conscientious way she provides care to her patients. She finds joy in helping people look and feel their best and uses her medical skills to improve their well-being.She is compassionate towards individual concerns and believes the key to building strong relationships with her patients is through ongoing communication and education. Therefore, one-on-one consultations are provided to discuss concerns and develop a customized treatment plan for each patient.
Originally born and raised in Marseille, France, Atou moved to the U.S. in 2000. She attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she graduated in 2004 with a degree in Bachelor of Nursing Science. Soon after graduation, she started her career in the Emergency Room department and gained valuable experience for nine years while working for several hospitals in different States as a travel nurse. Through traveling she found her way to South Florida, which she is now proud to call her home. In 2013, she earned her Master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. As of 2013, she has served as a nurse practitioner with a focus on Endocrinology. She has a true passion for treating patients with diabetes. She has since obtained post-graduate certifications in Esthetics and Intravenous Vitamin Nutrition and she is pleased to provide these services to South Florida.
With her experience in Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology and Esthetics, Atou is a well-rounded nurse practitioner who strives to give her patients the best possible care.
